"If you want a plumbing company that is professional and easy to work with, Tarvin Plumbing is it. We prefer to work with independently owned companies who have been in business for a long time. Tarvin Plumbing has been in business for over 100 years and as a family owned business they take pride in what they do. They have remodeled our kitchen and three baths in addition to acting as the contractor for other remodeling work. With each job, Mike Tarvin came to take measurements and find out what we had in mind. We then chose specific materials and the contract was drawn up. The contract not only listed the materials and cost, but specified what would be done and when it would be done. And that was exactly what happened! They did what they said they would do when the contract stated it would be done. They didn't go aways for days or weeks making us wonder when they would be back. Tarvin also uses quality subcontractors for jobs other than plumbing and routinely makes visits to insure the work is being done properly and to your satisfaction.
Before we started calling Tarvin Plumbing for routine plumbing problems, plumbing companies typically did not show up or even call to tell us they wouldn't be able to come on a specific day. Tarvin Plumbing sends a competent, skilled plumber when they say he will come and he cleans up when he is finished."

"Tarvin Plumbing did a total remodel of my kitchen and half bath in 2007. They gutted both areas entirely and hauled away the old appliances, cabinets, flooring, etc. They installed new hardwood floor, cabinets, counter tops, ceiling fan, appliances, lighting & electrical, ceramic back splash and floor tile, and plaster ceiling. The work was completed according to schedule (one month) and to my total satisfaction. The work was done both professionally and neatly- they cleaned up every day. The most difficult thing for me was selection of cabinets, counter top, appliances, color coordination, etc."
